2024 Newsletter

Hi neighbors –

We hope this newsletter finds you well and excited for the upcoming beach season at Inglewood Beach Club now that spring weather is upon us!

Firstly, we want to remind you that membership renewal will automatically take place on May 1st, 2024. For those of you who were in active standing in 2023, and have a credit card in your account, you should not need to do anything unless you get an email that there is an issue processing your payment. Your continued support is invaluable in maintaining our beloved beach club and ensuring its success for years to come.

Additionally, we have some exciting volunteer opportunities on the horizon! We have just purchased six new heavy-duty Adirondack chairs from Costco to place down at the beach, and we need your help! If you have a knack for putting things together and want to lend a hand, we would love to have you join us in the coming months. Anyone is welcome to reach out to our board and coordinate to take a chair box down to the beach to build it. We will plan to bring them to the annual meeting for assembly, or we can organize a work party if anyone is interested sooner. Together, we can create comfortable and durable seating for everyone to enjoy while soaking up the sun and taking in the beautiful views.

Your participation and support are essential to the success of our beach club, and we are grateful for your continued dedication to our community.

If you’re interested in volunteering or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Let’s work together to make this beach season one to remember!

Thank you for being a valued member of Inglewood Beach Club.

Warm regards,
Inglewood Beach Club Board of Directors

Auto-renewal will be processed on May 1 for those who use a credit card. Please check your account before submitting any additional payments!

Before You Renew: Check your subscription status as many are all still getting used to the auto-renewal and subscription system. If you need clarification on whether you are current, please log in and check your subscription status as we do not provide refunds. Your member portal is accessible by going to our website and clicking “log in” on the top right. From there, you will see – on the left side menu – your dashboard, subscriptions, invoices, transactions, and settings. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us! If you do not wish to use a credit card, you can always send a one-time payment via Zelle ([email protected]). We encourage setting up auto-payment via your bank. Annual payment is due May 1st. You’ll need to fill out the membership form to start your membership, and you’ll be able to modify and maintain it via the online member portal for subsequent years.

Annual IBC Member Meeting

June 8th at 10 am

At the beach!

Come mingle with your fellow members, chat with your Board, and enjoy some simple packaged snacks while we discuss important business matters. This is your chance to have a say in the future of our beach club!

Agenda items include:

  • Voting on open board positions
  • Reviewing the current year’s budget spend
  • Discussing essential beach beautification changes now that the trail is finally complete

Plus, according to IBC Bylaws, your shares in the beach increase just by showing up!

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with your community, have your voice heard, and kick off the summer season in style.

We look forward to seeing you there!

If you can’t make the annual meeting, feel free to reach out to the board ([email protected]) if you have any questions or concerns to raise for the community as a whole that we can discuss together.  In the meantime, I hope you have a safe and enjoyable time at the beach this year, and as a reminder, please review our Rules, Terms & Conditions to ensure a fun and respectful beach experience for all community members.

Beach Rules

To maintain a family-friendly environment, we do not allow smoking, vaping, fires, or glass on the beach property. We continue to find several pieces of broken glass, which poses a serious risk of injury to our members. No dogs on Wednesdays and Sundays. Always pack in, pack out.

IBC Access

We’ve transitioned to an open-access system for beach entry, foregoing the need for physical keys. However, it’s important to highlight that access to our property and amenities remains exclusive to paid members. Without valid membership and proper identification, individuals will be politely asked to leave. We encourage everyone to get to know fellow beachgoers and kindly remind each other to maintain their current membership status.

Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.

Go to the Beach!

The beach is near the intersection of E. Lk Samm Pkwy and Inglewood Hill Rd. The parking area is just north of Inglewood Hill Rd, on the west side of the street. Follow the path from the parking lot to the trail, go south on the trail, and look for the Inglewood Beach Club sign on the gate.
