The New Trail is Coming!
After years of waiting, we've received confirmation from King County Parks (KCP) that construction on the section of trail near the IBC beach property will begin in October this year. Highlights include:
In January 2020, KCP advised that all boats had to be removed by September 2020, so we asked the membership to remove all property from the boathouse and fenceline storage as per KCP's timeline.
IBC is being required by KCP to remove all structures within the construction zone. Please plan for upcoming demolition of the boathouse, shed, and readerboard sign. Unfortunately, we do not expect boat storage or personal storage structures to return, based on laws.
