Happy 2010!!!!
Hard to believe that 2009 is a thing of the past. Just seems like yesterday that we were enjoying our little respite on Lake Sammamish as the temperature approached 100 degrees. That sure was a lot better than the 17 degree weather 2009 left us in as the year came to an end.
Well, let us just hope that 2010 will bring a wonderful summer so that we can enjoy our little slice of sunshine on the shores of Lake Sammamish.
We made preparations and winterized the beach with the help of members who volunteered for this task. These brave souls endured an unbelievable downpour in order to retrieve and secure the swim line, buoys and the floating dock. The dock was paddled ashore, then manhandled up skids, and secured to the beach for the winter. Thank you to everyone who assisted in this project. Your work is very much appreciated and will make our work in the spring, to get the beach ready, so much easier.
We are planning to have the newsletter out by March 1st of this year. That is the date that we're planning on updating the gate lock for the season. Remember that the newsletter will be arriving via snail mail, so be checking your mailbox for the newsletter with your membership dues attached.
